If you take the Renegade Interrupt, you'll pull a gun on him and get +5 Renegade Points. When you return to the Police Station grounds, talk to Pitne among the crates to press him for what he knows. Samara says that Pitne For is involved somehow, so it's time to have another chat with him. At the end of the conversation, you can pick "Maybe I can help" for +2 Paragon Points. Fortunately Samara won't have to kill her thanks to a 24 hour grace period, however if you can find the name of the ship that harbours the fugitive Samara is looking for then she'll leave peacefully. Then after that you can say "I need you on my team" for +2 Paragon Points.Īnaya will soon arrive on the scene and explain to Samara that she's been ordered to take her into custody. After doing that, you can pick "Yes, I am" for +2 Paragon Points or "No, not really" for +2 Renegade Points. At the start of the conversation you can say "You killed in cold blood" for +2 Paragon Points. Once they're downed, collect any ammunition they may have dropped, and then continue forward down the alley and head through the door behind another blue cordon.Īs you arrive here, you'll finally bear firsthand witness to the Justicar, Samara. Unfortunately there's not much room to maneuver here, nor is there much cover to utilize, so you're going to have to be brutal, quick and aggressive here, to get rid of the enemies in this tight space before they flip the script on you. This group is made up of only a couple of Asari the rest of the enemy combatants are weak LOKI Mechs. Head back up and take the side route to enter another alley, this one filled with Eclipse Mercs. At the far end of this alley are some steps: head down them to find some Circuit Boards to salvage from the bomb-looking device on the right wall. Gear up with your Weapons and set them just the way you like 'em, then round the corner into the alley. You can choose to Upload the message, but know that this will always get you Renegade Points (you can get some Paragon Points as well, but Renegade Points are guaranteed). If you paid attention to the Asari back at the Taxi Stand, you'll recognize that Thax is the person she's trying to scam. Now, you can walk straight through the line and past the Asari to continue onward.Īs soon as you pass through the doorway, look to your right to spot a terminal with Shipping Details that you can Read, which is part of the Illium: The Justicar: Smuggling Evidence Side Quest. You probably spotted this location earlier, but if you didn't, it's the area where two Asari are standing guard, with a blue cordon around them. With Detective Anaya's blessing, you can now breach the police line at the far end of this area. Since you're here to take the Justicar away, Anaya lets you into the crime scene no questions asked! As becomes apparent, she's as anxious to get rid of the Justicar because she's been ordered by her superiors to arrest her, which would force the Justicar to kill her to honor her Code. On the right-hand column visible as you enter the Police Station.Įnter the Police Station talk to Anaya. You can also get some exchanges from the Turian Worker near the railing and the Spaceport Official near the entrance to the Police Station. You'll have to talk with Detective Anaya in the nearby Police Station to get access there. Once Shepard arrives on the scene, talk to Pitne For: although he doesn't offer any Morality Points, he offers a lead on where the Justicar is, in the crime scene where his partner was killed. He's afraid of the Justicar, he says, but Detective Anaya responds that she only kills the unjust, so clearly he has nothing to worry about. A testy Volus merchant named Pitne For is attempting to leave Illium, but an Asari named Detective Anaya informs him that he's a suspect for the death of his business partner, and although Pitne For claims he's innocent, he's still not allowed to leave. We recommend the latter, as you can pass by an Asari whose chatter is a premonition for what you'll encounter.Īs soon as you arrive in this new section of Illium, you'll bear witness to a rather bizarre scene. Once you're done talking with Officer Dara, you can either summon a cab from her, or you can manually Call a Cab yourself via the Cab Console at the end of the Taxi Stand in the middle of the area. Using the Investigate options will reveal that it's not because Samara is unjust or a bad person, it's that she rigidly adheres to her Code to kill anyone unjust, and Illium has a LOT of that. At the start of the conversation, say "I only want to talk" for +2 Paragon Points, or "So what if she did?" for +2 Renegade Points. Talk with her and she'll be rather jumpy that you're trying to go after a Justicar. Officer Dara can be found at the Tracking Station at the far South-Western part of the map. Bring Grunt and Garrus with you on this Mission to get the most unique dialogue.
